The image above shows an advertisement image promoting Bosch’s first dishwasher, introduced in 1964. Even after 60 years, our kitchens, especially dishwashing, haven’t changed much.
Meet ArmOne, a multi-purpose robot that will transform how you use your kitchen.
We had deep learned computer vision models that detect dishes to the millimeter, driven by advanced neural networks trained on real dishwashing. With millimeter-level 3D perception, it could identify dishes in messy piles, grasp them reliably, and wash them.
Here’s a demo from June 2022. ArmOne led the initial Series A phase, and we later shifted our focus to commercial applications.
A full-scale aesthetic working model, built with a few hundred dollars of cardboard instead of spending tens of thousands at a prototype shop. With a 7-DOF joint enabling real physical interaction, the robot was brought beyond images into a tangible, interactive experience.
